About the Role
Our client is seeking a strategic and experienced Food and Beverage Director to lead their extensive F&B operations in a premier hotel located in Southampton . This senior leadership role involves overseeing multiple restaurants, bars, banqueting, and room service, driving innovation, ensuring exceptional quality, and maximizing profitability. You will be responsible for setting the culinary vision, managing budgets, developing talent, and creating memorable dining experiences for guests. This is a key position for a visionary leader passionate about elevating the gastronomic profile of the hotel in Southampton and its surrounding region.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the overall F&B strategy to enhance brand reputation and revenue.
- Manage all aspects of food and beverage operations, including quality, service, and hygiene standards.
- Oversee menu engineering, concept development, and supplier relationships.
- Manage F&B departmental budgets, forecasts, and profitability targets.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the F&B management and operational teams.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and alcohol licensing regulations.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in a senior Food and Beverage leadership role, preferably within a large hotel or resort.
- Proven track record in driving F&B profitability and innovation.
- Strong financial acumen, including P&L management and budgeting skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability in menu development, culinary trends, and wine/beverage management.
- A passion for gastronomy and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
