About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Food and Beverage Manager to lead their catering and dining operations in Sunderland . This pivotal role demands a strategic approach to enhancing guest satisfaction, optimizing operational efficiency, and driving revenue growth within the food and beverage department. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the F&B service, from menu development and inventory management to staff training and financial performance, ensuring an exceptional dining experience for all patrons and maintaining the establishment's reputation for quality and excellence in the local dining scene.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of all food and beverage outlets, including restaurants, bars, and room service.
Develop and implement innovative menus, pricing strategies, and promotional activities to drive sales and profitability.
Manage inventory, procurement, and cost control measures for all F&B supplies, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing waste.
Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise F&B staff, fostering a culture of exceptional service and teamwork.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene standards, maintaining rigorous standards in all F&B operations.
Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements to enhance the overall dining experience.

Requirements

Proven experience in a management role within the food and beverage industry , with a strong track record of success.
In-depth knowledge of F&B operations, including menu engineering, cost control, and quality assurance.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage budgets effectively and achieve financial targets.
Strong understanding of health and safety regulations within the food service sector.
A passion for culinary excellence and delivering outstanding guest experiences in Sunderland .
