About the Role

This hybrid role involves investigating ground conditions and providing expert advice for a variety of construction and infrastructure projects. You will manage geotechnical aspects from desk studies and site investigations to design and construction support, balancing office-based collaboration with the flexibility of remote work. Key Responsibilities

• Plan and manage ground investigations, including site visits and sample analysis coordination.
• Perform geotechnical analysis for foundations, slopes, earthworks, and retaining structures.
• Prepare detailed geotechnical reports, foundation design recommendations, and mitigation strategies.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies on geotechnical matters.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant geotechnical standards and building regulations.
• Provide technical support during the construction phase, addressing any ground-related issues.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Geotechnical Engineering.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in geotechnical engineering.
• Proficiency with geotechnical software (e.g., PLAXIS, GeoStudio) and CAD.
• Knowledge of soil mechanics, foundation design, and site investigation techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid model, balancing office and remote duties.
