About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive course maintenance programs, including mowing, fertilization, aeration, and pest/disease management.
• Manage the irrigation system, ensuring efficient water usage and optimal turf health across the Aberdeen course.
• Oversee daily operations, directing and motivating the groundskeeping team to achieve high standards.
• Maintain accurate records of budgets, inventory, chemical applications, and course conditions.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Golf Course Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent.
• Strong knowledge of turfgrass science , agronomy, and integrated pest management techniques.
• Experience with golf course irrigation systems and drainage principles.
• Proficiency in budget management and team leadership.
• A degree or diploma in Horticulture, Agronomy, or a related field is highly desirable.
