About the Role
Our client seeks a dynamic and experienced Head of Regional Operations to lead and manage all operational activities across the West Midlands region, based in Birmingham . This senior leadership position requires a strategic thinker capable of driving operational excellence, managing complex projects, and ensuring the efficient delivery of services that meet high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for developing regional operational plans, managing a significant budget, and leading a diverse team to achieve key performance indicators. Key Responsibilities
- Lead, direct, and manage all operational functions within the West Midlands region, ensuring alignment with company strategy.
- Develop and execute regional operational plans, including resource allocation, budgeting, and performance targets.
- Oversee the management of facilities, logistics, and supply chain operations to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), reporting on regional operational performance to senior management.
- Foster strong relationships with regional stakeholders, clients, and regulatory bodies.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all operational areas, embracing innovation and best practices.
Requirements
- Extensive experience (7+ years) in senior operational management, with a focus on regional leadership.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale operations, budgets, and teams within the Birmingham area or similar metropolitan region.
- Strong strategic planning and execution capabilities, with a deep understanding of operational metrics.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in implementing operational change and driving efficiency gains.
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
