About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and adaptable HR Advisor to join their team in Coventry . This role offers a hybrid working model, blending remote flexibility with essential in-office collaboration. You will provide crucial HR support to employees and line managers, handling a range of operational HR activities. Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line HR advice and support to employees and managers on a variety of HR-related matters, including policies, procedures, and employment law.
- Manage employee lifecycle processes, such as onboarding, contract changes, and offboarding.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with current legislation.
- Support managers with performance management processes, including absence management and disciplinary procedures.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR information systems, ensuring data integrity.
- Contribute to HR projects and initiatives as required, supporting broader departmental objectives.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an HR Advisor or similar HR operational role.
- Solid understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices.
- Experience with HR Information Systems (HRIS) and payroll processes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
- CIPD Level 3 or equivalent qualification is preferred.
