HR Operations Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and highly organised HR Operations Manager to oversee critical HR functions in Leeds . This role is responsible for the efficient and effective delivery of HR services, ensuring compliance, managing HR systems, and supporting the broader HR team. You will be instrumental in optimising HR processes and providing a seamless experience for employees and managers alike. This is a key leadership position for an individual passionate about operational excellence within Human Resources.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the HR department, including payroll processing, benefits administration, and employee record management.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant UK employment laws and regulations, updating policies and procedures as necessary.
• Oversee the implementation and optimisation of the HR Information System (HRIS) to enhance data accuracy and reporting capabilities.
• Develop and manage HR operational budgets, monitoring expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Lead and mentor the HR Operations team, fostering a culture of service excellence and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth execution of HR initiatives.

Requirements

• Significant experience in HR Operations Management or a similar senior operational HR role.
• In-depth knowledge of UK employment law, payroll, and benefits administration.
• Proven experience managing HRIS systems and implementing HR technology solutions.
• Strong leadership, project management, and analytical skills.
• Excellent ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
