HR Operations Manager

About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced and efficient HR Operations Manager to oversee HR operations for their organisation based in Cambridge . This hybrid role is responsible for ensuring the smooth and effective running of all HR processes, including payroll, benefits administration, HRIS management, and compliance. You will lead a small team, driving efficiency and best practices within the HR function. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all HR operational functions, including payroll, benefits administration, and HR information systems.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant UK employment legislation and company policies.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the HR operations team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
• Develop and implement efficient HR processes and procedures to enhance operational effectiveness.
• Manage the HR budget and provide financial reports on HR operational costs.
• Act as a key point of contact for complex HR operational queries and problem resolution.

Requirements

• Proven experience in an HR Operations Management role or senior HR operational position.
• Strong understanding of UK payroll, benefits administration, and HRIS management.
• Experience in leading and managing a team.
• Excellent knowledge of employment law and compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• CIPD Level 7 or equivalent professional qualification is required.
