Our client is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer with a specialization in automation to join their team in a hybrid capacity. Key Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities for automation within manufacturing and warehouse operations.
- Design, specify, and oversee the implementation of automated systems, including robotics and PLC controls.
- Develop and refine automated workflows to improve efficiency, throughput, and product quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and maintenance, on automation projects.
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing automated systems to ensure peak performance.
- Develop training materials and provide guidance to personnel operating automated equipment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in industrial engineering with a significant focus on automation and robotics.
- Proven experience with PLC programming, robot integration, and automated system design.
- Understanding of manufacturing execution systems (MES) and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills related to automated processes.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing remote analysis with on-site implementation and support.
