About the Role

Our client seeks a highly skilled Industrial Engineering Consultant to provide expert advice and support on a project basis in Bristol, South West England, UK . This role involves assessing current operational processes, identifying areas for significant improvement, and recommending strategic solutions to enhance efficiency, productivity, and profitability. You will work collaboratively with client teams to implement recommendations and drive impactful change. This hybrid role requires on-site client engagement alongside remote analysis and reporting, offering a dynamic engagement for experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of client operations, analyzing workflows, resource allocation, and performance metrics.
• Develop data-driven strategies and action plans for process optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency gains.
• Implement Lean Six Sigma methodologies and best practices to achieve tangible improvements.
• Provide expert guidance on facility layout, material flow, and supply chain optimization.
• Train client personnel on new processes and methodologies to ensure sustainable adoption.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for client stakeholders, outlining findings and recommendations.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Extensive experience (7+ years) as an industrial engineer , with a strong focus on consulting and project management.
• Proven expertise in Lean Manufacturing , Six Sigma (Black Belt preferred), and change management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning capabilities.
• Excellent client-facing communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid engagement model.
