Key Responsibilities
- Analyze current industrial systems and processes to identify areas for enhancement and optimization.
- Design and implement new systems, workflows, and equipment configurations to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Develop and utilize process simulation models to evaluate system performance and predict outcomes.
- Apply lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to streamline operations and eliminate waste.
- Collaborate with engineers and operations staff to ensure effective implementation of system changes.
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations on system analyses and proposed solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in industrial systems analysis, design, or optimization.
- Proficiency in process modeling and simulation software (e.g., Arena, AnyLogic).
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Experience with data analysis, statistical process control (SPC), and root cause analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
