Key Responsibilities

• Receive, register, and manage incoming insurance claims from policyholders and third parties.
• Investigate claim circumstances, gathering relevant documentation and evidence.
• Assess liability and calculate settlement amounts in line with policy terms and company procedures.
• Communicate effectively with claimants, providing updates and explaining decisions clearly.
• Negotiate settlements with claimants and their representatives where appropriate.
• Process payments and maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all claims activity.

Requirements

• Previous experience in claims handling or a customer service role within insurance is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with customers.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload efficiently.
• Proficiency in using claims management systems and standard office software.
• A keen eye for detail and the ability to make accurate assessments.
