About the Role
Our client is seeking an innovative and strategic Insurance Product Manager to lead the development and lifecycle management of their insurance product portfolio in Southampton . You will be responsible for identifying market opportunities, defining product roadmaps, and ensuring our offerings meet customer needs while driving business growth and profitability. This role requires a deep understanding of the insurance market, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. You will be instrumental in shaping the future of our insurance products and maintaining our competitive edge.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new product opportunities and potential enhancements.
- Define product vision, strategy, and detailed requirements for new and existing insurance products.
- Develop and manage product roadmaps, prioritizing initiatives based on market potential and business objectives.
- Collaborate closely with underwriting, actuarial, marketing, and sales teams throughout the product lifecycle.
- Ensure product compliance with regulatory requirements and internal governance standards.
- Monitor product performance, gather customer feedback, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Proven experience in product management , ideally within the insurance or financial services sector.
- Strong understanding of insurance products, market dynamics, and regulatory environments.
- Demonstrated ability to define product strategy, conduct market analysis, and manage roadmaps.
- Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a data-driven approach.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
