About the Role
Our client is seeking an innovative and strategic Insurance Product Manager to lead product development and lifecycle management for their offerings in Glasgow . This remote-first role requires a deep understanding of the insurance market, customer needs, and competitive landscape to design, launch, and optimize profitable insurance products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, underwriting, and technology to bring new products to market and enhance existing ones. The ideal candidate is a results-oriented leader with a passion for creating impactful solutions that meet market demands and drive business growth, all within a fully distributed team structure.
Key Responsibilities
- Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap based on market research, customer feedback, and business objectives.
- Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch, iteration, and retirement.
- Conduct market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and customer segmentation to identify opportunities.
- Collaborate with underwriting and actuarial teams to ensure product viability and pricing strategies.
- Develop go-to-market plans and work with sales and marketing to ensure successful product launches.
- Monitor product performance, gather customer feedback, and drive product improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry .
- Proven ability to develop and launch successful new products.
- Strong understanding of market research, customer needs analysis, and product development methodologies.
- Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
