About the Role
Our client is seeking an innovative and strategic Insurance Product Manager to lead the development and lifecycle management of their insurance products, operating in a fully remote capacity. You will be instrumental in identifying market opportunities, defining product strategy, and overseeing the launch of new insurance offerings that meet evolving customer needs and regulatory requirements. This role requires a blend of market insight, technical understanding, and strong stakeholder management skills to drive product success across the business, all from the convenience of a remote work setup.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the product roadmap for various insurance lines, aligning with business objectives and market trends.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new product opportunities and potential improvements.
- Develop detailed product specifications, requirements, and go-to-market strategies.
- Collaborate closely with actuarial, underwriting, claims, marketing, and technology teams to ensure successful product development and launch.
- Monitor product performance, profitability, and customer feedback, making data-driven recommendations for enhancements.
- Ensure all products comply with relevant regulatory standards and legal requirements.
Requirements
- Significant experience in product management within the insurance industry.
- Demonstrated success in developing and launching new insurance products.
- Strong understanding of insurance products, markets, and the competitive landscape.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams remotely.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; MBA or equivalent is a plus.
