About the Role
Our client is looking for a meticulous and organized Inventory Controller to join their retail operations team in Oxford . You will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, managing stock levels, and implementing efficient stock control procedures to minimize discrepancies and optimize stock flow. This role is crucial for ensuring product availability and supporting the overall efficiency of the store's supply chain. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all aspects of inventory control, ensuring accuracy and completeness of stock records.
- Conduct regular stock takes and cycle counts, identifying and investigating any variances.
- Implement and maintain efficient stock management systems and processes.
- Monitor stock levels and liaise with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely replenishment.
- Support the prevention of stock loss through effective security measures and procedures.
- Generate reports on inventory levels, stock movement, and potential issues for management review.
Requirements
- Proven experience in inventory control , stock management, or a related role within retail.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and systems.
- Excellent analytical skills and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
