Junior Industrial Engineer

About the Role

Our client is actively seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Junior Industrial Engineer to join their operations team in Stoke-on-Trent . You will support senior engineers in analysing production processes, implementing improvements, and ensuring operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers in analysing manufacturing processes, identifying inefficiencies, and suggesting improvements.
• Support the implementation of lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
• Help collect and analyse production data to monitor performance and identify trends.
• Assist in developing and updating process documentation, including SOPs and work instructions.
• Participate in cross-functional team meetings to support operational goals.
• Conduct basic time studies and ergonomic assessments as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Understanding of basic industrial engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing concepts is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude.
• Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn.
