About the Role
Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Junior Industrial Engineer to join their growing team in Bradford . You will work closely with senior engineers on a variety of projects focused on improving production efficiency, optimizing workflows, and reducing waste within a busy manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior engineers in analyzing production processes and identifying potential areas for improvement.
- Support the development and implementation of lean manufacturing techniques and 5S programs.
- Collect and organize data related to production output, efficiency, and resource utilization.
- Help in the design and layout of workstations and production lines for optimal ergonomics and flow.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process enhancements.
- Prepare basic reports and documentation for process improvement projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field (e.g., Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management).
- A foundational understanding of lean manufacturing concepts and process analysis.
- Basic proficiency in data analysis and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong desire to learn and develop professionally in an industrial engineering career.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
