About the Role
Our client is actively searching for a talented and visionary Lead BIM Architect to spearhead their digital design initiatives from their central Coventry office. In this senior capacity, you will be instrumental in shaping and implementing BIM strategies across all project phases, driving efficiency and innovation in the architectural process. You will lead a dedicated BIM team, ensuring seamless integration of technology into our design workflows and maintaining the highest standards of project delivery. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive BIM strategies and workflows for all company projects.
- Lead, manage, and mentor a team of BIM coordinators and technicians, ensuring high performance and skill development.
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of BIM models, standards, and protocols to ensure project consistency and quality.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and external stakeholders to integrate BIM effectively throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct training sessions and provide technical support on BIM software and best practices to internal teams.
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in BIM technology and propose enhancements to existing workflows and tools.
Requirements
- Significant experience (7+ years) in architectural design with a strong focus on BIM implementation and management.
- Expert proficiency in Revit , Navisworks, and other relevant BIM software suites.
- Proven experience in leading and managing technical teams within an architectural environment.
- Deep understanding of architectural design principles, construction processes, and project delivery methods.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
