Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of chemical engineers, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of complex chemical processes and plant operations.
- Manage large-scale engineering projects from conception through to completion, ensuring adherence to budget and timelines.
- Develop and enforce process safety standards and environmental compliance strategies.
- Act as a technical authority, providing expert guidance on process design, troubleshooting, and technology selection.
- Collaborate with senior management to define long-term operational strategies and capital investment plans.
Requirements
- Extensive experience (8+ years) in chemical engineering , including significant leadership or project management roles.
- Deep understanding of chemical process design, scale-up, and plant operations.
- Proven ability to lead and develop engineering teams.
- Expertise in process safety, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering .
- Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills, essential for a hybrid role in Leeds .
