Key Responsibilities
- Lead the conceptualisation, design, and execution of large-scale chemical engineering projects.
- Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for remote teams.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of chemical engineers and technicians.
- Conduct in-depth process analysis and optimisation to enhance plant efficiency and sustainability.
- Ensure rigorous adherence to all safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among geographically dispersed team members and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Chartered Engineer status (or equivalent) with a degree in Chemical Engineering .
- Over 10 years of progressive experience in the chemical industry, with a strong track record of project leadership.
- Demonstrated expertise in process design, scale-up, and troubleshooting of complex chemical systems.
- Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Experience with advanced simulation tools and data analytics for process optimisation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, adept at remote collaboration.
