About the Role
Our client is seeking a visionary Lead Content Strategist to build and manage their content initiatives from the ground up. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within the UK. You will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive content strategy that supports marketing goals, enhances brand awareness, and drives user engagement across all digital channels. This role requires a deep understanding of SEO, content marketing, and audience engagement, with a proven ability to create compelling narratives that resonate with target audiences. You will lead a small team of content creators and work closely with marketing, product, and sales departments to ensure a cohesive and effective content ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a data-driven content strategy aligned with business objectives and SEO best practices.
- Oversee the creation, editing, and publishing of high-quality content across various platforms including blog posts, website copy, social media, and email campaigns.
- Conduct thorough keyword research and competitor analysis to identify content opportunities and trends.
- Define content performance metrics and regularly analyze results to optimize strategy and tactics.
- Manage a team of content writers, editors, and designers, providing clear direction and constructive feedback.
- Ensure brand voice, tone, and style consistency across all content outputs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in content strategy , content marketing, or a related field.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful content strategies that drive measurable results.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and how to leverage content for organic search visibility.
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Demonstrated leadership experience and the ability to manage remote teams effectively.
