Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of machine learning models for credit risk, market risk, and operational risk assessment.
- Mentor and guide a team of data scientists, fostering a collaborative and innovative research environment.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand risk challenges and translate them into data science problems.
- Develop and implement robust data pipelines and analytical frameworks for real-time risk monitoring.

- Present complex findings and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership.
Requirements
- PhD or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
- 7+ years of experience in data science, with a strong focus on financial risk modeling.
- Proven experience leading data science teams and managing complex projects.
- Expertise in programming languages like Python or R, and proficiency with SQL.
- Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and risk management principles.
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is highly desirable.
