About the Role

Our client is searching for a visionary Lead Game Writer to spearhead the narrative development for upcoming titles in the Arts & Entertainment sector. You will lead a team of talented writers, ensuring narrative coherence and quality across all aspects of game development, from initial concept to final release. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee the overarching narrative, lore, and character arcs for new game projects.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of game writers, providing constructive feedback and direction.
• Write high-quality dialogue, quests, item descriptions, and other in-game narrative content.
• Collaborate with design, art, and programming teams to ensure narrative integration and consistency.
• Maintain detailed documentation of narrative elements, including plot outlines, character bibles, and world-building guides.
• Champion the importance of storytelling within the development process, advocating for narrative quality and player immersion.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Game Writer or Narrative Designer, with a portfolio demonstrating strong storytelling and writing skills.
• Experience in a lead or senior writing role, with demonstrated ability to manage and mentor other writers.
• Deep understanding of interactive storytelling techniques and game design principles.
• Excellent command of English grammar, style, and narrative structure.
• Experience working with version control systems and collaborative writing tools in a remote team environment .
• A passion for video games and a broad knowledge of different genres and narrative approaches.
