About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Pharmaceutical Process Engineer to join their manufacturing operations in Bradford . This critical role involves optimizing and scaling up pharmaceutical manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and regulatory compliance. You will lead a team of engineers, troubleshoot complex process issues, and implement innovative solutions to enhance production capabilities. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in chemical or process engineering within the pharmaceutical sector and a commitment to driving operational excellence in a demanding manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development, optimization, and scale-up of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
- Design, implement, and validate new process equipment and technologies to improve efficiency and product quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex process-related issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective corrective actions.
- Ensure all processes comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Develop and manage process validation protocols and reports.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior process engineers and manufacturing personnel.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Master's preferred.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in process engineering within the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience in process design, scale-up, validation, and optimization of drug product manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of GMP regulations and pharmaceutical process controls.
- Proficiency with process simulation software and data analysis tools.
- Excellent leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills.
