Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical parts and systems for automotive applications using advanced CAD and simulation tools .
- Conduct rigorous analysis, including stress, thermal, and vibration testing, to ensure component performance and durability.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software developers, and manufacturing experts, to integrate mechanical systems.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and Bill of Materials (BOMs).
- Support prototype build and vehicle testing, documenting results and implementing design improvements.
- Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies in automotive mechanical engineering.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably within the automotive industry.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA) and familiarity with automotive standards.
- Experience with simulation tools (FEA, CFD) for performance analysis.
- Strong understanding of automotive manufacturing processes and materials.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a hybrid team setting.
