Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for media inquiries, providing timely and accurate information.
• Develop and execute media outreach plans to secure positive press coverage.
• Draft press releases, media advisories, and background materials for journalists.
• Monitor media mentions and report on coverage, analysing sentiment and impact.
• Support senior management and spokespeople during media interactions.
• Assist in the planning and logistics of press conferences and media events.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a media relations or PR role, preferably within a corporate setting.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with journalists and media outlets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with a talent for storytelling.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks under deadlines.
• Familiarity with media monitoring tools and reporting techniques.
• A relevant degree in Communications, Journalism, or Public Relations is beneficial.
