About the Role

Our client is seeking a professional, caring, and experienced Nanny to provide high-quality childcare for a family in Sunderland . This role involves looking after children in their own home, focusing on their safety, well-being, and developmental needs. You will be responsible for organising engaging activities, assisting with homework, preparing nutritious meals, and managing daily routines. The ideal candidate will be proactive, trustworthy, and possess excellent communication skills, building a strong, supportive relationship with the family and contributing positively to the children's upbringing in Tyne and Wear.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children in the family home.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate educational and recreational activities.
• Prepare healthy and balanced meals and snacks for the children.
• Assist children with homework and support their educational development.
• Manage children's daily routines, including bath time and bedtime.
• Maintain open and clear communication with parents regarding the children's progress and well-being.

Requirements

• Previous professional nanny or childcare experience with excellent references.
• A relevant childcare qualification is desirable.
• Paediatric First Aid certification required.
• A valid DBS check.
• Excellent understanding of child development and safety.
• Reliable, punctual, and a positive attitude.
