Nanny

About the Role

Our client is seeking a warm, experienced, and reliable Nanny to care for their two young children (aged 3 and 5) in their home in Derby . The role involves providing a high level of care, engaging the children in educational and fun activities, and supporting their daily routines. This is a live-out position requiring someone who is proactive, nurturing, and committed to the well-being and development of the children. The ideal candidate will be passionate about childcare and capable of creating a stable and stimulating environment for the family.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and loving care for the children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
• Plan and execute engaging, age-appropriate activities including outings, crafts, and educational games.
• Manage daily routines such as meals, naps, and bath times.
• Assist with children's homework and educational development.
• Maintain open and clear communication with the parents regarding the children's progress and any concerns.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Nanny or similar childcare role, with excellent references.
• Strong knowledge of child development for toddlers and preschoolers.
• First Aid certification and a clear DBS check.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• A proactive, patient, and responsible attitude.
