About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and dependable Nanny to provide exceptional care for their children in Sunderland . You will be responsible for the daily care, supervision, and development of the children in a home environment, creating a structured yet nurturing atmosphere. This is a live-out position where you will build a strong, trusting relationship with the family, contributing significantly to the children's upbringing and providing peace of mind to the parents. The role requires a proactive individual committed to child safety and development.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and responsible care for children of various ages, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
• Plan and engage children in age-appropriate educational activities, games, and outings.
• Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children, adhering to any dietary requirements.
• Assist with children's daily routines, including dressing, bathing, and bedtime.
• Maintain open and consistent communication with parents regarding the children's progress, behaviour, and daily activities.

Requirements

• Previous professional experience as a Nanny or in a similar childcare role is essential.
• Excellent knowledge of child development stages and best practices in childcare.
• First Aid certification and ideally a background check (DBS).
• Strong references from previous families or employers.
• Patience, reliability, and a genuine love for working with children.
