About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Offshore Installation Manager to oversee operations for their remote installations. This is a leadership position responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of offshore facilities. You will manage all aspects of installation activities, from planning and execution to maintenance and decommissioning, prioritizing the well-being of personnel and the integrity of the assets. The role requires exceptional leadership, strong decision-making capabilities, and a deep understanding of offshore operations within the demanding Oil & Gas sector, all managed within a remote-first framework designed for maximum operational oversight.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all offshore installation activities, ensuring adherence to safety, environmental, and operational standards.
- Develop and implement comprehensive installation plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Oversee the management of offshore personnel, including contractors and crew, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Ensure all offshore equipment and systems are maintained and operated safely and efficiently.
- Manage risk and implement robust safety procedures, including emergency response planning and execution.
- Liaise with onshore management, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and compliance.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in offshore operations, with a significant portion in a supervisory or management role .
- Proven track record in managing complex offshore construction and installation projects .
- Strong knowledge of offshore safety regulations, environmental standards, and risk management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Experience in managing large teams and diverse workforces in challenging remote environments.
- Relevant technical or engineering degree or equivalent professional experience is essential for this role based in Northern Ireland .
