Offshore Installation Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a seasoned and highly motivated Offshore Installation Manager for their major projects based out of Plymouth . This is a demanding, site-based role crucial for the successful execution of offshore construction and installation activities within the oil and gas industry. You will have overall responsibility for managing all offshore operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in offshore project management, a strong understanding of marine operations, and exceptional leadership skills to manage large, diverse teams in a challenging environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of offshore installation campaigns, including platform, pipeline, and equipment installation.
• Ensure strict adherence to all safety, health, and environmental (HSE) regulations and company policies.
• Develop and implement detailed offshore execution plans and schedules.
• Manage offshore personnel, contractors, and subcontractors, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Control project costs, monitor progress against budget, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Liaise with onshore project management, clients, and regulatory bodies to ensure project objectives are met.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in managing large-scale offshore installation projects within the oil and gas or renewables sector.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects safely and within budget.
• Strong knowledge of marine operations, heavy lifting, subsea construction, and associated risks.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Valid offshore survival certificates and medical fitness.
