Offshore Installation Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly accomplished and decisive Offshore Installation Manager to lead operations from their base near Belfast , Northern Ireland. This senior leadership position carries ultimate responsibility for the safe, efficient, and environmentally sound execution of all offshore activities, including installation, maintenance, and modification projects within the Oil & Gas sector. You will manage a large, diverse team, ensure adherence to strict safety protocols, and be the primary point of contact for project stakeholders. This is a critical role for an experienced leader with a proven track record in managing complex offshore environments and delivering projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of offshore installation and construction activities, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
• Manage offshore crews, contractors, and subcontractors, fostering a strong safety culture.
• Develop and implement comprehensive offshore execution plans and schedules.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations, company policies, and environmental standards.
• Manage offshore logistics, materials, and equipment, optimizing resource allocation.
• Act as the main point of liaison with clients, regulatory bodies, and other project stakeholders near Belfast .

Requirements

• Extensive experience (15+ years) in offshore construction and project management, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry .
• Proven track record in a senior offshore leadership role, such as Installation Manager or Construction Superintendent.
• Strong understanding of offshore lifting, heavy lifting, subsea operations, and marine coordination.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Valid offshore certifications (e.g., BOSIET, FOET, IMCA).
• Ability to reside in or commute to the vicinity of Belfast for operational oversight.
