Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement solutions for electrical power systems, including distribution, generation, and protection.
- Perform load flow analysis , short circuit studies, and stability analysis for power networks.
- Ensure all designs comply with national and international electrical codes and safety standards.
- Collaborate with project teams to integrate power systems seamlessly into larger infrastructure projects in Cardiff .
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to power system performance and reliability.
- Prepare technical specifications, reports, and project documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Power Systems.
- 3-5 years of experience in the design and analysis of electrical power systems.
- Proficiency with power system analysis software such as ETAP, PSS/E, or PowerFactory.
- Solid understanding of electrical grid operations and protection schemes.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and contribute to a hybrid work model.
