Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and optimize existing chemical manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, yield, and reduce environmental impact.
- Design and develop new chemical processes, including equipment specification and process flow diagrams.
- Conduct feasibility studies and economic evaluations for process modifications and new technology implementations.
- Troubleshoot operational issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with R&D, production, and engineering teams through virtual communication channels.
- Prepare technical reports, safety assessments, and operating procedures for implemented processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in process engineering within the chemical industry.
- Proficiency with process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, ChemCAD).
- Strong understanding of chemical principles, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics.
- Experience with process safety considerations and environmental regulations.
- Excellent remote collaboration and communication skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
