Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze production processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement process modifications to enhance product quality, throughput, and energy efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues related to chemical processes and equipment.
• Ensure all processes adhere to stringent health and safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare detailed reports on process performance, analysis, and recommendations.
• Work closely with plant operators and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3-5 years of experience in a process engineering role within the chemical industry.
• Solid understanding of chemical plant operations, equipment, and process control systems .
• Proficiency in data analysis and experience with statistical process control (SPC).
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and P&IDs.
• Good communication and teamwork skills, essential for collaborating within the Birmingham facility.
