Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze production processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement process modifications to enhance product quality, throughput, and energy efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues related to chemical processes and equipment.
- Ensure all processes adhere to stringent health and safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare detailed reports on process performance, analysis, and recommendations.
- Work closely with plant operators and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 3-5 years of experience in a process engineering role within the chemical industry.
- Solid understanding of chemical plant operations, equipment, and process control systems .
- Proficiency in data analysis and experience with statistical process control (SPC).
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and P&IDs.
- Good communication and teamwork skills, essential for collaborating within the Birmingham facility.
