About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of chemical processes from conceptualization through to full-scale implementation.
• Conduct process simulations, hazard analyses (HAZOP), and risk assessments to ensure operational safety and compliance.
• Optimize existing chemical manufacturing processes to improve yield, reduce waste, and enhance energy efficiency.
• Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and project management teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex process-related issues in a manufacturing setting.

Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in process engineering within the chemical industry.
• Proven expertise in process design software (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS) and simulation techniques.
• Strong understanding of thermodynamics , fluid dynamics, and reaction kinetics.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Experience with regulatory compliance and environmental health and safety standards is essential.
