Key Responsibilities
- Analyze plant operational data to identify inefficiencies and areas for process improvement.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize chemical processes, including reaction conditions, separation techniques, and material handling.
- Conduct process troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to resolve operational problems.
- Design and execute pilot studies to validate optimization strategies before full-scale implementation.
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality control teams to ensure seamless integration of process changes.
- Maintain detailed records of process performance, improvements made, and cost savings achieved.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in process engineering, with a strong focus on optimization and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis tools.
- Experience with process simulation software is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of chemical plant operations and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
