Property Development Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and proactive Property Development Manager to oversee exciting new projects in and around the historic city of Oxford . This role requires a strategic thinker with a comprehensive understanding of the property development lifecycle, from initial site acquisition and planning through to construction and final delivery. You will be responsible for managing budgets, timelines, and stakeholder relationships to ensure the successful execution of development projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, a meticulous approach to project management, and a deep knowledge of the Oxford property development landscape, driving innovation and value creation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of property development projects, including feasibility studies, planning applications, and design development.
• Oversee construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Negotiate with contractors, suppliers, and other service providers to secure favorable terms.
• Liaise with local authorities, planning departments, and other regulatory bodies.
• Manage project finances, including budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, partners, and other key stakeholders throughout the development process.

Requirements

• A degree in Property Development, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Significant experience (5+ years) in managing property development projects from inception to completion.
• Strong knowledge of planning regulations, building codes, and construction practices.
• Excellent project management, financial acumen, and negotiation skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively prioritize tasks.
• Experience within the Oxford development market is a significant advantage.
