About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Property Portfolio Manager to oversee a diverse range of properties across Bristol and the South West region. This key role involves strategic management of a property portfolio to maximize returns and ensure operational efficiency. You will be responsible for tenant relations, financial performance, maintenance coordination, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of the property market, and a proactive approach to asset management, utilizing a hybrid working model for optimal flexibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans for the property portfolio to achieve financial and operational objectives.
- Manage all aspects of tenant relationships, including leasing, rent collection, and issue resolution.
- Oversee property maintenance, repairs, and capital improvement projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.
- Conduct regular property inspections and performance reviews to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and health and safety standards.
- Prepare detailed financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for the portfolio.
Requirements
- Proven experience in property management or portfolio management within the real estate sector.
- Strong understanding of property valuation, financial analysis, and market trends.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in property management software and relevant regulations.
- Ability to manage budgets effectively and drive profitability.
- A relevant degree or professional qualification (e.g., RICS) is a significant advantage.
