About the Role
Our client seeks a meticulous and proactive Property Portfolio Manager to oversee their extensive portfolio of residential and commercial properties in the Manchester area. This critical role involves maximizing property value, ensuring tenant satisfaction, and managing all operational aspects of the portfolio. You will be responsible for strategic planning, financial oversight, and ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of a diverse property portfolio, ensuring optimal performance and value.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for property enhancement, acquisition, and disposal.
- Oversee tenant relations, lease negotiations, and ensure high levels of occupancy and satisfaction.
- Manage budgets, financial reporting, and rent collection processes for the portfolio.
- Ensure all properties are compliant with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams, contractors, and external agencies to address property issues promptly.
Requirements
- Proven experience in property management or portfolio management, preferably within the UK.
- Strong understanding of residential and commercial property markets, including lettings, sales, and legal frameworks.
- Excellent financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, with a client-centric approach.
- Relevant qualification such as RICS or a degree in a related field is desirable.
