About the Role
Our client is looking for a highly motivated Remote Aerospace Systems Integration Specialist to join their distributed engineering force. This position focuses on the seamless integration of various complex systems within aerospace platforms, ensuring interoperability and optimal performance. You will play a key role in defining interface requirements, troubleshooting integration issues, and supporting system validation, all from the comfort of your home office. This role demands exceptional communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fully remote, collaborative setting, driving the success of cutting-edge aerospace projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and document system interfaces and integration requirements for aerospace platforms.
- Develop and execute integration test plans for complex aerospace systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system interoperability and data exchange.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, software, systems engineering) to ensure smooth integration.
- Provide technical support and guidance to integration teams and stakeholders remotely.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of systems integration processes and tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in systems integration, preferably within the aerospace industry.
- Familiarity with systems engineering principles and methodologies.
- Experience with communication protocols and data buses (e.g., ARINC 429, CAN bus).
- Proficiency in using simulation and modeling tools for system integration.
- Excellent remote collaboration, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
