Remote Automotive UX/UI Designer

About the Role

You will be responsible for crafting intuitive and engaging user experiences for in-car infotainment systems, mobile applications, and connected car services. This role involves translating complex user needs and business requirements into seamless digital interfaces. Working entirely remotely, you will collaborate with a talented international team, including product managers, software engineers, and researchers, to define the future of automotive user interfaces. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct user research, analyze findings, and translate them into user personas, journey maps, and wireframes.
• Design intuitive and aesthetically pleasing user interfaces for automotive digital products (infotainment, apps).
• Create interactive prototypes and mockups to effectively communicate design concepts to stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across all platforms.
• Collaborate closely with UX researchers and engineers throughout the design and development lifecycle.
• Advocate for user-centered design principles and best practices within the team and organization.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing automotive or complex digital product design.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or InVision.
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and visual design.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in an agile development environment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions clearly in a remote setting.
• A degree in Design, HCI, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
