About the Role
Our client is looking for a highly experienced and thorough Remote Aviation Safety Investigator to join their dedicated safety team. In this fully remote role, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth investigations into aviation incidents and accidents, determining root causes, and developing recommendations to prevent future occurrences. Your meticulous approach and expertise in investigative techniques will be paramount in upholding the highest safety standards within the aviation sector. This is a significant opportunity for a skilled investigator to contribute to aviation safety from the comfort of their own home office.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage investigations into aviation incidents, accidents, and safety occurrences.
- Gather and analyze evidence, including witness statements, technical data, and CVR/FDR.
- Determine root causes and contributing factors to aviation safety events.
- Prepare comprehensive investigation reports with clear findings and actionable recommendations.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies, accident investigation boards, and other relevant authorities.
- Promote a safety-first culture by sharing lessons learned from investigations.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in aviation safety investigation , with a strong understanding of investigative methodologies.
- Deep knowledge of aviation operations, aircraft systems, and human factors.
- Familiarity with international aviation accident investigation standards and procedures.
- Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage complex investigations in a remote capacity.
