Remote BIM Architect

About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a highly skilled BIM Architect to join their distributed team, supporting projects nationwide with a focus on efficiency and cutting-edge technology. You will be instrumental in developing and implementing BIM strategies, ensuring seamless project collaboration and information management throughout the design and construction lifecycle. This fully remote position is perfect for an architect with deep expertise in Building Information Modeling and a passion for optimizing architectural workflows through digital innovation, contributing to projects based out of Nottingham .

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage BIM execution plans for various architectural projects.
• Create, manage, and coordinate complex BIM models, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Lead BIM coordination meetings with internal teams and external consultants to resolve clashes and design issues.
• Establish and maintain BIM standards, protocols, and workflows to enhance project efficiency and quality.
• Provide technical support and training on BIM software and best practices to project teams.
• Collaborate with project managers and architects to ensure BIM deliverables meet project requirements and deadlines.

Requirements

• Professional qualification in Architecture or a related field with a strong emphasis on BIM.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in architectural practice, with at least 5 years focused on BIM implementation and management.
• Expert proficiency in Revit and Navisworks, with a comprehensive understanding of BIM concepts and standards (e.g., ISO 19650).
• Experience with various construction types and project phases.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills tailored for a remote collaborative environment.
