About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and innovative Remote BIM Architect to join their leading-edge practice. This position is ideal for a technically adept architect who excels in leveraging Building Information Modeling (BIM) to drive design excellence and project efficiency. Working entirely remotely, you will collaborate with clients and internal teams across the UK, playing a crucial role in developing and implementing complex architectural designs through advanced digital workflows. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the BIM strategy and implementation for diverse architectural projects, ensuring adherence to LOD (Level of Development) requirements.
- Develop and manage comprehensive BIM models, including geometry, data, and documentation, for coordination and construction.
- Collaborate closely with external consultants and contractors to facilitate seamless interdisciplinary model integration and clash detection.
- Create and maintain high-quality architectural drawings, visualizations, and reports from BIM data.
- Provide expert guidance and training on BIM best practices to project teams.
- Ensure all digital deliverables meet project requirements and industry standards.
Requirements
- Fully qualified Architect with substantial experience in BIM environments.
- Expert proficiency in Revit and a deep understanding of BIM workflows and standards (e.g., ISO 19650).
- Proven track record of managing BIM execution plans and leading BIM coordination efforts.
- Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and construction technologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills for effective remote collaboration.
- A portfolio showcasing complex BIM projects is highly desirable.
