About the Role
Our client is actively seeking a skilled Remote BIM Architect to join their progressive firm, supporting projects across various sectors. This role is designed for an expert in Building Information Modeling (BIM) who can deliver high-quality design documentation and coordination services from a remote location. You will be instrumental in developing and managing BIM models, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and seamless collaboration with project teams. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and maintain BIM models according to project requirements and standards.
- Coordinate architectural designs with other disciplines (structural, MEP) within the BIM environment.
- Produce detailed drawings, schedules, and documentation directly from BIM models.
- Implement BIM best practices and workflows to enhance project efficiency and quality.
- Provide technical support and training on BIM software and processes to team members.
- Collaborate virtually with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Architectural Technologist or Architect with a strong BIM focus.
- Expert proficiency in Revit and a thorough understanding of BIM standards (e.g., ISO 19650).
- Experience with Navisworks for clash detection and model coordination.
- Strong technical skills in developing construction documentation from BIM models.
- Excellent remote communication and collaboration abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage project tasks effectively.
