About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled Remote BIM Coordinator to join their forward-thinking construction technology team. This position is crucial for enhancing project efficiency and coordination through advanced Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes, supporting various construction projects across the UK without the need for physical site presence. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing BIM standards and workflows, facilitating collaboration among project teams, and ensuring the accurate creation and utilization of digital models. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and enforce BIM standards, protocols, and best practices across all relevant project phases.
- Manage and coordinate 3D models from various disciplines (architectural, structural, MEP) to identify and resolve clashes proactively.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among project stakeholders using BIM platforms and collaborative tools.
- Provide technical support and training to project teams on BIM software and workflows.
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of BIM data throughout the project lifecycle.
- Generate reports and visualizations from BIM models to support project decision-making and progress monitoring.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a BIM Coordinator or in a similar role within the construction or architecture industry.
- Proficiency in industry-standard BIM software (e.g., Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360).
- Strong understanding of BIM standards , LOD requirements, and construction documentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote setting.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex digital models and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
