About the Role
Our client is actively seeking a talented Remote BIM Coordinator to join their innovative design and construction team. This position is a fully remote role, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere in the UK, contributing significantly to the coordination and management of Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes across various client projects. You will play a critical role in ensuring seamless collaboration, clash detection, and the efficient development of BIM models throughout the project lifecycle. This role is ideal for a self-motivated individual with a passion for digital construction technologies and a desire to work autonomously.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage BIM models for various construction projects, ensuring adherence to project BIM Execution Plans (BEPs).
- Conduct clash detection analysis and work with project teams to resolve identified conflicts.
- Ensure the accuracy and consistency of BIM data and deliverables.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to facilitate information exchange.
- Provide technical support and guidance on BIM software and workflows to project teams.
- Maintain and organize BIM project files and libraries.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a BIM Coordinator or in a similar BIM-focused role.
- Proficiency with BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, and Solibri.
- Strong understanding of BIM standards, workflows, and protocols.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote setting.
- Experience with clash detection and resolution processes.
- Knowledge of relevant UK BIM frameworks and standards.
