Our client is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Remote Chemical Process Engineer to join their forward-thinking team, supporting operations across the UK. Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop new chemical processes, ensuring scalability, safety, and environmental compliance.
- Optimize existing manufacturing processes to improve yield, reduce waste, and lower operational costs.
- Utilize process simulation software and data analytics to model and predict process performance.
- Conduct remote technical support and troubleshooting for production facilities.
- Collaborate virtually with plant engineers, R&D teams, and management to align process objectives with business goals.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, process flow diagrams (PFDs), and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience as a Chemical Process Engineer , with a strong understanding of process design principles.
- Proficiency with process simulation software such as Aspen HYSYS or ChemCAD.
- Experience in process troubleshooting and optimization within a manufacturing setting.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective remote teamwork.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering .
- Proven ability to manage projects and deliver results independently in a remote setting.
